Start at the middle line. Make a diagonal stroke slanting downward and to the right, reaching the bottom line. Without lifting your pen, curve the stroke back up to the middle line, forming a small loop or hook. From the middle line, continue the stroke downward and to the left, forming a diagonal line that ends just above the bottom line. Finish with a slight upward curve to connect to the next letter.

Start at the top line. Make a diagonal stroke slanting downward and to the right, reaching the bottom line. Without lifting your pen, curve the stroke back up to the top line, forming a small loop or hook. From the top line, create another diagonal stroke slanting downward and to the left, crossing the first stroke near the middle and reaching the bottom line. Finish with a slight upward curve at the end of the second stroke to connect to the next letter.
