Cursive Y

Start at the middle line. Make a downward stroke that curves to the left, then loop back up to the middle line, forming an oval similar to a cursive “u.” From the middle line, continue the stroke downward below the bottom line, forming a long tail. Curve the tail to the left and back up, creating a loop below the bottom line. Finish with a slight upward curve to connect to the next letter.

Start at the top line. Make a downward stroke that slants to the right, reaching the bottom line. Lift your pencil and place it back at the top line, slightly to the left of where you started the first stroke. Create another downward stroke that slants to the left, crossing the first stroke near the middle and reaching the bottom line.
