Cursive X

Start at the bottom line. Make a small, downward stroke that curves to the left and ends at the bottom line. Without lifting your pencil, create a small, upward curve that crosses the first stroke slightly below the middle line and continues to the right. From the middle line, draw a slanted stroke, right to left.

Start at the top line. Make a downward stroke that slants to the right, reaching the bottom line. Lift your pen and place it back at the top line, slightly to the right of where you started the first stroke. Make another downward stroke that slants to the left, crossing the first stroke near the middle and reaching the bottom line.

Start by completing the “r” with a slight upward curve that extends just above the middle line.
